Lerma

This village, lying on the hills looking on to the valley of the Piota river, 300 m a.s.l., has still kept a medieval borough with a church and a castle going back to the XIIth century, a property of the Spinola family since 1414.

The neighbouring villages, rich in medieval castles
(Visit Castelliaperti.it website) and cellars open for tasting DOC (Controlled denomination of origin) wines, will make your stay a cheerful one.
Nature lovers will be able to spend whole days in the forests of the Capanne di Marcarole Natural Park, 10 minutes away from the tourism farm.
.

Those who are keen on art and painting will admire the small San Giovanni church (XIth century, in Romanesque style, with Flemish style frescoes).
Lerma lies only some kilometres away from the Ligurian Sea and its beautiful coasts.
Genoa, with its fairs, shows, squares, monuments and rich aquarium, will attract the attention of the most demanding tourist.
